None of us are getting younger.... I wanted a tactical type rifle that doesn't weigh more than a sporter. Remmy doner action, Hardy 20" carbon barrel 6.5CM 1/8 and PSE E-Tac4 RSA stock made extremely light , just under 29oz including bedding. The complete rifle with mag without bipod comes in at just under 6.7lbs. The only thing heavy will be a PMII going on it.

Masterpiece Arms 6.5CM, Kahles 624i, 26" MTU. Scary accurate, all I do is feed it ammo. It just flat erases steel.

Finally got on the lathe to get my suppressor to fit the 24mm Hardy barrel. A quick run to a farm nearby this eve to fire a few shots over the chrono and zero at the same time. Never had a 6.5CM before and only have a few boxes of Sako TRG 136 Scenar factory ammo so far for her. I fired 15 rounds, first few rounds had an extreme spread of 75fps. The last 7 shots were down to 35fps . My guess is this barrel will need a few shots. the last three shots of a 5 shot group were under 1/4", 5 shot group was ~3/4". Schmidt sent me a 3-27x56 with the Tremor 3 reticle. This scope is to die for. Fantastic optics even at 27mag.
The rifle itself had been planned since a while, my ultra light tactical, that weighs 3040 grams 6.7lb, E-Tac4RSA stock is only 820g / 29oz , the scope including the Spuhr mount 1400grams 49.5oz... worth the weight . Total weight of the rifle with suppressor 4760 grams. 10.47lbs (minus bipod).
Sako TRG 136gr ammo averaged at 2730fps from the 20" Hardy carbon barrel. ~1100m supersonic.

If you are ever considering a precision rifle, with out custom job, here is the numero uno, with big U guys.
I must say that i have shot a lot of different rifles, but this Tikka T3X TAC A1 in 6.5creedmoor is fcking stunning gun.
With the Sako TRG precision, it shoots lights out, or hand load you might get it even better shoot, but that Sako TRG line ammo is by far the best competition ready ammo i have ever shot.
Steiner M7Xi scope that is a real deal guys, check that rifle out, before you are going to buy something else, this Tikka is a freaking awesome rifle, and i ain´t talking redbull shiet here, just true honest words.
I have shot with this compo now some over 400 rounds, and it just left that wide smile on my face after every time, man i should buy this a long time ago..
With that Spuhr mount, it is perfect rig.
