Feeds like an absolute dream. Feeds better than the shitty factory stock with the AR mag jammed up into the bolt body, binding it, and making you have to gorilla-snatch the bolt backwards just to open it. Every one of them I’ve tested was this way with ammo in the AR mag with the factory stock. There is no tension, and the bolt is smooth as glass with the AICS setup. Highly recommend not listening to the website, because they want you to wait for the new AR/Stanag mag version of the stock. If you’re going to do this, be sure to use the Magpul PMags made for this application. That’s why mine is feeding reliably. Some .223 AICS mags don’t work well with the Magpul Hunter stock in the Ruger, because they aren’t seated high enough into the mag well. The new Magpul PMag 10 5.56 AC (AICS) mags were invented to fix this problem. And they work perfectly. How are the 300BO rounds feeding? Their site recommends against that application.
Went and put 50 rounds through it today…Feeds perfectly. How are the 300BO rounds feeding? Their site recommends against that application.
Interesting, thanks. I've tried that mag in a 223 RPR and an AICS AT-X with 223 rounds. Worked fine in the AICS. Seemed a little high in the RPR, rubbed the bolt a bit, but still fed reliably.Went and put 50 rounds through it today…Feeds perfectly.
I really like that stockWell… Since it’s last public appearance, my Ruger American Ranch 16” .300 BLK has undergone a bit of a transformation, and definitely for the better. That factory stock, while lightweight and functional for hunting, is thin and flimsy, so I put a Magpul Hunter AICS stock on it. And got some of the new Magpul PMag 10 5.56 AC (AICS) mags for it, so I could seat the bullets much closer to the lands for Precision subsonic handloads. I also installed an Anarchy Outdoors threaded bolt handle & knob, and a Timney trigger (factory Ruger trigger is in the box), that I adjusted down to around 1.5 lbs. It has no excuse not to shoot good groups now.

Not sure if it will work, but MDT makes AICS 6mm ARC mags, and it’s parent case is 6.5 Grendel, who’s parent case is 7.62x39… Possibly worth trying?I really like that stock
I want one for my RAR but don't believe they make one. (7.62x39-mini 14 mags)
Thanks, I'll do some digging. Not sure if it will work, but MDT makes AICS 6mm ARC mags, and it’s parent case is 6.5 Grendel, who’s parent case is 7.62x39… Possibly worth trying?
You could always call Magpul tomorrow and see if they’ll look into making some PMag 10 7.62x39 AC (AICS) mags? They might be working on already? Thanks, I'll do some digging.
A completely new process for us as well as new moulds etc. Visual carbon vs only painted carbon stocks in our current process. This stock including adjustable cheek raiser, spacer system and alu pillar blocks weighs 700 grams / 24.OZ. Production is aimed at 650 grams / 23 oz. We'll be at IWA 23 Hall 4A117, if you are visiting.Prototype?

So beautiful. Has this been accurate/reliable for you? I want one but I’ve been hesitant because of what I’ve been hearing about QC issues.
It’s been very accurate (.5 MOA) out to 500 yards. Zero function issues. So beautiful. Has this been accurate/reliable for you? I want one but I’ve been hesitant because of what I’ve been hearing about QC issues.
