PredaTar .308 market

Wanted to get some opinions i'm fixing to put my 2021 PredaTAR 308 up for sale on Texasguntrader. I bought it new and ran about 30-50rds through it. Put a SLR adjustable block on it to make it run suppressed and tone down the gas which honestly helped the gun a lot in my opinion from its stock setup. Anyways, my main hunting rig is a DD 308 and i really want to drop back to a grendel small frame so im gonna let this Larue go as it ain't got a scratch on it. I bought it before things went crazy i see Larue asking not $4200 for the dang OBR. Obviously they don't produce these anymore... So im wondering what it should bring.

Whats a good asking price for this rifle?

I got 2400$ for my predatar 308 but it took awhile.

Realistically? $2000-2300.

You’ve gotta be cheaper than the cheapest rifle of similar perceived quality if you don’t want to sit on it forever. New LMT’s, DD’s, and SP10’s sell in the $2400+ range. To get the Aero or build crowd to spend the extra money, they gotta feel like they stole it.

I’d just keep it.

Primary Arms now has some rifles that Larue is making exclusively for them, and the PredatAR (both ar10 and ar15) is one of them. They use the PredatAR chassis, but install the heavier stealth barrels. You might check their prices for comparison.

I think they even have the heavy OBR and what amounts to the Costa rifle (small frame PredatAR but with a 14.5” OBR barrel pinned).

I had a hard time selling my heavy PredatAR. I think I ended up selling my complete PredatAR upper with the heavier barrel for like 2300 or something.

I got lucky selling mine because the guy had the 556 one and wanted a matching 308. And he was local to me.

yep, just saw that. gonna list it on TGT here in texas and there too. gonna start off little high and take an OBO. Thats crazy they are 5000 on primary arms, sometimes companies these days i don't think know what to charge LOL

I like the look of the regular fde 308 OBR for 3499 except that's too much money and I got raped by the tax guy last month so couldn't buy it if the price was cheaper anyways.
