Help please. I have a Premier Heritage 3 - 15 x 50 Gen II Mil Dot Scope. I purchased the scope for use on a different rifle, but I sometimes use American Defense Recon mount to place it on a Noveske 16 inch rifle with a VIS monolithic upper, and a Vltor E-Mod stock. My problem is when I do the scope is about .4 - .5 of an inch to high on the rail for me to get a solid check weld. I have tried using a Magpul UBR stock taken off another gun, but that has not helped. Using a Magpul CTR stock with a ½” riser would help but the riser would interfere with the operation of the charging handle. The only solution I can think of is to use a lower mount. As mounted on the ADM mount I have about 3/8’ clearance between the scope and the rail. I might be able to squeak out a touch more clearance if I used different scope cover, but not much. Is there anything I can do, or is this just not a configuration that is going to work? I have looked at different mounts, but I have not been able to tell if a different mount, for example: a LaRue, A.R.M.S., or a Knight mount might help
