Hi,

did Premier change the windage adjustment of the Heritage 3-15x50 Tactical? Thought, it should +-8 mrad, but my one came with +-6 only. It's actually a 3-15x50 Tactical, not the light version. It's not only the scale of the turret, but the mechanics stops at +-6 mrad as well.

I just checked mine. It is numbered up to six but will go past maybe another mil or so. Mine is pretty new...got it about a month ago.

Re: Premier Heritage 3-15x50 Tactical windage adj

Interesting. Seems to have changed. Could you post the serial number? It's located at the bottom. Mine got somewhat around 4250. Don't have it at hand right now.
How many clicks do you have after the 6? Just one mil or more / less than that?

Re: Premier Heritage 3-15x50 Tactical windage adj

8 clicks past going right, 15 past going left.
I only had it mounted for a couple of days after I got it then sent the gun off to have some work done. I can't remember if I reset the windage knob zero or not.

My serial number is much lower than yours though, its in the 002800s range.

Hmm, lets suppose you did not reset it. 8+15=23 clicks. Distributed evenly it's a bit more than one mil per side, as you said. Should mean +-7 for windage. That's curious.
Would be interesting if the turret or the mechanics of the reticle adjustment is the limiting factor here.

Re: Premier Heritage 3-15x50 Tactical windage adj

May be mechanics....according to the specs from their website windage adjustment is "20+-MOA or 6Mrad".
I guess the extra 25ish clicks is to get you centered properly.

Just curious, but do you have a need for more? I did a quick check on MD Ballistics and with a .308 you would need to be at over 1050yds with a 20MPH crosswind to need over 6mrad of correction.

Re: Premier Heritage 3-15x50 Tactical windage adj

Yep, you're right. I checked some of my tables as well. I's not very likely I would need it frequently. Otherwise I could use the (half)dots of the reticle for correction, if necessary.

I just was wondering about it, because that was the technical data I knew and how the scope was sold.

Most of the dealers still have the old data, as here:

http://www.eurooptic.com/premier-heritag...ad-15-mrad.aspx

But anyway, nothing really to worry about. Think we've got a nice scope -)

Re: Premier Heritage 3-15x50 Tactical windage adj

Was in a conversation with Optronika about that. It turned out, that the 22mrad single turn version got +-8 for windage. The 28mrad version got +-6mrad. But most of the data sheets available are not updated with the current data for different models.
