Have a chance to by this scope with mildot reticle. In box, papers,Badger rings. $2k. Seems like an awesome deal as this shows up at $3400 online. Rings another $200. They have recently been acquired by a respected Canadian firm so their future appears stable and service intact (for now). But I'm not familiar with the scope...so, waddya think?

It is a great deal, just be aware that the Gen2 MilDot is going to be real thick at 20 to 25X. If you have it mounted on a 50BMG, and plan on shooting APC's and material targets, it will be the perfect scope.

Considering mounting on 110BA 338 lapua. No competition. Just banging 30x18 steel plates at 1000 - 1500 yards.

Buy it. If you hate the reticle at higher mag, you are still in it for a good enough deal to send it back and get the Gen II XR put in it.

I hate me too! I have a great Nightforce 5.5-22x56 mounted now that I really like. Might have to buy another gun for the new scope! Damn, it's great to be divorced and retired.
