Who has the best deals for quality merchandise? Employer will pay up to $200 towards these, and since I'm considering retirement, before too many more years, I thought I should probably take advantage of the stipend. Recommendations/suggestions appreciated. I do get a slight first responder discount at Oakley, but when I price them out the glasses are about double my allowance. Thanks!

I use rayban wayfarers with prescription sunglasses. The reason they work well is b/c they don’t have curved lenses. Curved lenses (like Oakley uses) don’t do as well prescription-wise according to some sources, but others may disagree. The other thing is I play tennis 10 + hours per week with mine for the last four years and they are still tight as a drum. Tough buggers. I use yellow lenses

bifocal sunglass lenses should be around $150-$160 at costco,
    - PC or trivex(need to double check)
    - I believe they only come in FT28
and you should be able to find a decent frame for about $100

Any regular frame can have sun lenses put into them

If you're set on Oakleys, you want to look at the Frogskins or any non-wrap frame
    - like stated above
    - wrapped frames can be done in Rx, but not bifocal,
they will do progressives if you dont mind the distortion in the add
    - Rx limitations last time I checked with Oakley was +4.00 to -6.00 total power(add the cylinder)
