Hard to believe he would do that ,i think most on his mind is his legacy now he already took one for the party dropping out i would think him re-signing is off his table imho .
The emotional intelligence of these people is non existent. I’m not surprised though. They just can’t read the room. The people have spoken and soundly rejected Biden and Harris, but they don’t get it.

I thought there would be a chance he would resign when he withdrew from the race to add credibility to the cackles, but they opted to try and separate her from the abysmal administration's performance instead. Neither would have worked in the end.

She’s not on deaths door but her health is definitely questionable and doubtful she would make another 4 years, Trump will most likely get 2 conservative retirements this term and her unless she can gut it out, even then if things go well it’s president JD. I expect Thomas to retire for sure in the next few years, possibly or likely Robert’s as well.

They want the first woman president, first minority woman president, etc - whatever. The same reason she was coronated as the candidate with zero-ish primary votes. It's not about qualifications - it's about making history.
