I'm hearing rumors that FJB pardoned Hunter as a response to Pres. Trump selecting Kash Patel as FBI director. Perhaps there was the thought that Patel might beef up the investigations of Hunter in the Trump administration.

In all honesty- I'm not even that upset that he did. I'm more upset that (1) the system allows such a conflict of interest to occur and (2) more importantly, the very nature of issuing such a pardon serves only to support that all that he's been accused of (child pornography, "pay to play", embezzlement, narcotic possession and use, racism/collaboration/conspiring to commit/accomplice to felonies, felony procurement and possession of firearms, (I'm running out of patience so will end with..) etc.) did in fact occur & that that there's more than sufficient evidence to support that they occurred but we likely won't see any outrage voiced on that fact.

the more i think about this, the more i think it was all a setup from the beginning. once the laptop came out, they had to charge him with something, so the least embarrassing charges went up, tax evasion and gun charge. Biden needs charges to be able to pardon him with a blanket.
