I caught this story in the news earlier and I have to admit that the George Soros inclusion threw me off. Him along with Hilary at the same time put me through a loop. When it comes to medals... well Napoleon (if I remember correctly) had some thoughts on the topic and of course there's this...
I wouldn't normally get to bent out of shape over a ceremonial event but to have both Soros and Hilary together and publicized at this point... that alone, well it just bothers me. It's reminiscent to me when the villain in the James Bond films steps out and takes a bow basking in the glory of their plan coming to fruition once the 'fix' was in and all hope to reverse it seemed lost up until that point.
It likely will amount to a nothing burger but I just have this feeling that I'll remember this years later and will bring it up in a conversation and (assuming I'm right on the nothing burger outcome) I'm going to be told that I'm misremembering and those two never had any connection.
