Rifle Scopes Preventing scope ring marks. Possible?

Good old piece of masking tape. Cut in half of course. Works every time

Use Burris XTR signature rings. They have a polymer insert to add or subtract MOA to the rings and as a bonus they do not leave marks. I have 3 sets of them.

Never had an issue with ARC rings/mounts. One screw for the rail and one for the ring is a huge plus as well.

I’ve used Spuhr a lot and like them, but they always seem to “flash” the finish of the scope. It doesn’t scratch, but in the right like you can see the sheen is a little off. I made sure the mount and the scope were clean before mounting as well.

I always use rosin in between.
