For those of you with suppressed AR10's is the Pri Gas Buster charging handle warranted?

I haven't bought a handle yet for the AR10. I plan on eventually running a can on it, so if the PRI GB is a good idea I see no reason to waste the $25 on a standard handle only to ditch it later. I don't see myself having stacks of AR10's like the AR15's I have, so I don't need spare parts lying about.

I plan on getting a Gas Buster for my suppressed M4 because it can get a little uncomfortable with a standard charging handle.

I think you have the same project going on as me right now. Im trying to keep mine as close to and short as my AR-15. I know this wont answer your question but I went ahead and got the PRI for mine I figured it cant hurt!I will be running a suppressor on it aytway. As of now all I have are the lower from IRA I just sent back to have it matched up with a upper and have a IRA trigger and lower parts kit installed. I saw your other post about barrels you might want to get ahold of David (shark suppressors) and talk to him about a barrel I believe he has a few he is working on he is building one for me. And I have a as far as a stock and forend what did you go with I went with the same stock I have on my ar15 a Magpul UBR. Might go with the Badger forend but not sure if I like the looks of it yet.

I got the Gas Buster for my AR10. I haven't shot it suppressed with a standard charging handle so I can't tell you the difference, but there is a difference between it and shooting my AR15 suppressed with a normal charging handle.

I figured it wouldn't hurt so I got it from the start and am happy with it.

I noticed a significant change in mouth mud when I went to the gas buster on a suppressed 18.5 inch AR10. Same result on my .556 SP1. Both use QD YHM Phantom suppressors in their respective calibers. Might be that I also tend to shoot with my mouth open
