He shuts down our oil, and gas production we become dependent on Russia and OPEC, and are at a strategic disadvantage. Now he wants to tap the strategic reserve..

This is partially a consequence of last year when oil demand plummeted. The oil industry shuck off long term assets and shut longer term production that they normally do not touch and the end result of that is what we’re seeing currently. The industry plans projects years out because it must do so.

Biden certainly makes things a lot worse with crappy policy making (wrt federal leases) and the canceling of the pipeline. This is all thanks to an agenda which does not help any of the people claimed and damages the public in general.

Oil was over $100/bbl as recently as 2014, and is within a cunt hair of where it was in 2018. It is not particularly high historically.

Yes, his policies suck and are likely to push oil higher over the medium term.

Most of OPEC members are in a financial hole so are interested in getting prices higher , main two actors in current drama UAE and KSA both candidates for worlds greatest supporter of terror title and both involved in half a dozen wars have been burning tough cash like crazy for better part of a decade ,UAE wants to cash in ASAP= pump more ,KSA wants to let the prices climb higher, DJT also removed the Venezuelan and Iranian Oil of the worlds market further boosting OPEC leverage.
