Anybody run any of their items (red dots). I got a few .22 trainers (i.e Mark III and M&P 15-22) that need a micro dot and micro reflex sight. Any and all feed back would be great to hear.
I'm running one of the Primary Arms micro reflex sights on my Mark III 22/45 and really like it alot. I wouldn't compare it to some of the higher priced units but for plinking purposes and general use it does a great job, I'm very pleased with it. If you do a web search on Primary Arm's red dot sights you'll find that they have a very good reputation for the price point they're sold at. On a side note if you should have to use it their costumer service is second to none.
Good to hear. I noticed on their website... they are all out of there micro reflex sites (i sent them an email to find out a lead time/ETA). Any way you could post some pics of the Mark III w/ reflex sight?
Took a few quick shots, they're not great but here you go.
Tried to take a pic of the dot but it didn't turn out to good. The dot doesn't bloom anything like it looks in the pic but you can get an idea of how the sight sits on the pistol.
i have on of the T1 clones on a AR and it is well worth the price, holds zero and ive shot it in the rain, still works fine. batteries dont last as long as real aimpoints, but for $70.
I had one of the micro T1 clones. Bought it to see how I would like the smaller optice. Worked great and liked it so much that I went ahead and got the real T1. The micro from PA is still running strong and serving a buddy faithfully till this day.
Got my order on Monday (fast shipping and great comunication) and was impressed with both the micro reflex and T1 clone. Glass is decent on both items. Both units feel very well built... my only initial complaint is pictured here:
when viewing the T1 clone from the rear (picture with blue sky in the background) the LED emitter tends to take a little bit of the viewing area @ 4:30 location... although after mounting the unit to the rifle all issues went away. I can barely notice it. As promised I will provide a follow up and give a quick but detailed field report of my experience with this product. So far I'm impressed with Primary Arms services and their price effective items.
Hitting the range this saturday to give you gents some feed back.
here's some pics
up to this point I'm not really impressed with the P.A.R QD mount for the clone T1 micro... it has some really poor qaulity springs being used in the component (lever wanders...doesn't feel as solid as it should be).
