Range Report Prime 155 TAP 308 ammo

Good deal on a case of 308 Prime 155 Hornady TAP ammo. I use Berger classic hunter 168’s for 0-400 yard deer hunting out of a 16” barrel so I’m down for lighter bullets based on my application. Just wanted to check and see if anyone had any thoughts on potential pitfalls before I got a case? Any chance someone has tried it?

Bought a 200 round case before it disappeared. Very consistent grouping in my bolt gun. Will tear in my AR 10 shortly.

Any updates with respect to hunting success with the round... I am a brand new hunter (former high power rifle competitor) but like all my hobbies always on the learning curve. I would assume the Hornady TAP would be great for deer... any luck with hogs and their thicker “armor”?

The original #80965 is A-Max.
Hornady still lists it on their LE page but no idea if it is still for sale. The have multiple .308 TAP offerings now.
