Crap guys, I can't find any Federal 210M primers anywhere in town, but I have plenty of CCI 250. Is it possible to SAFELY switch between the two for reloading .308? Here are the particulars:

Rem M700 .308 Win.
175 HPBT SMK
43.0gr RL-15
For warm weather use, at altitude (5k, outside Denver)

If not possible, do you guys know of any substitute?

I've used mags in place of reg rifle primers and saw maybe 20-25fps increase over a chrono. I don't think you will have a problem but it might change your zero slightly at longer ranges. If you want to be safe maybe drop it .5 grains but I don't think you'll need to.

That's not a max load so it should be just as safe as with your current primer. Shouldn't effect accuracy/POI too much but only way to know for certain is to test it.
