I agree with you 100% for people not in the situation I have. Quickly that is:
1) I have more than 100# of surplus powder already.
2) Antimony is easy to get for me since I have family that teach chemistry. If you don't want to go that route, mix 19# of raw lead with 1# of magnum shotgun pellets. It's now hard enough to shoot from a Glock OEM barrel without any issues. I've done it, I have 23# of mag shot left.
3) Just because the King says I can't have lead bullets doesn't mean that I will give them up, just like having firearms that don't have a 4473 attached to them, they don't exist. I'm not selling them to anyone and I have an essentially private range to shoot at with family's property.
4) Given the ability of me to get the necessary stuff for making primers, I have enough to get me through the "winter" that we may be approaching. If it gets really bad and we're in teh worst case scenario I can make them completely.
You're exactly right that we need some Republican senators willing to stand their ground or else we're all hosed. If that happens it gives creedence to all the hoarders. Powder is my weak link, so I am buying lots of it.

My order got an E-Mail saying "Your order was successful".....no cancel notice/e-mail... I think I'll have a little faith and hope for the best. I'm sure T&T is trying their best to fill orders and make everyone happy. I know I wouldn't want his job right now. In particular if this is his only livelyhood. Give the guy (whom I don't know) a little slack. If I don't get my order, shame on me, I should have stocked up earlier.

If you re-check his site it now shows all primers as being out of stock . Me-thinks he just hasn't gotten to our "Your order has been cancelled" e-mail just yet .
I did however put myself on a backorder list with another online vendor which is showing shipment of everything I am looking for in anywhere from 2-6 weeks . This is the best way to get todays prices ,IMO ,if your not in a huge hurry . I am currently 800 miles from my reloading equipment with no chance of returning to it any time soon so I can wait .

I agree with you, and knowing him, he's a good guy. Not that you know me either, but as you said, you wouldn't want his job right now. The paycheck is good, but the stress is off the wall.

I'am sure all this guys wished they would have bought a million primers and million #s of powder. Some of the local shops will only sell to local people in small amounts. This way there is enough to go around. They are getting pounded by people everyday. Who know the supply would be so high. Now with primers being traded on the stock market. The inventory could have been reduce so that prices could go higher. That is one play on the Primer manufacturors profits. I talked with Hornady back in Sept. they told me to buy what I need before 2009. I think there is more to be played here than simple math/

I found Win standard primers today Locally. I did not get any. But seen them on the self. They will start showing up shortly I think.

The place where I was at today. They had about 10000 Win standard large primers in stock. I don't know if they ship but you could call. It is Guns Unlimited in Omaha Ne.

I've heard good things from them but I haven't ordered anything myself. Some guys on the R1 motorcycle forum have used them for stuff in the past and had success.

I talked with them today. The powder I need is not in stock. They said on the 23rd of the month. But we do know how that goes.
They said they get a called or order every 9 minutes. I wish these companies would update their website with the right amount of the products in stock.

For the most part we're all cool until someone starts with some logical dialougue about why the Fed Reserve system is taking over through their one world cabal, but we wouldn't want to be political mentioning anything about CFR, The Bilderbergs, or skull and bones. So WTF, I know I'm not of base, so as long as we keep it Dems and Rep it is ok, but talk on the fringe and your out, kind of like Ron Paul and FOX. Please explain yoursel.
