Does any of the competitions out there be it BR, tactical, F-Class, pay out any prize money for winning?

our club pays out for 1st in class and sometimes 2nd (depending on the # of shooters)....but it is not a lot of $.
If you are in this game to make money, you are in for a big disapointment

Our local club pays awards for the winners of each competition in a 3X600. There must me 5 or more competitors to pay. If 10 competitors in the same class compete, 2nd place receives a cash award. They don't pay awards for the overall winner. One could win the aggregate and not win anything. It isn't much anyway. It's nice though.
If there are only 9 f class shooters, there is no distinction award-wise made between F-T/R and F-O.

F class and Hi-power are both great diciplines to shoot, but like they said there is not a big payout in the end, be it local matches or regional/national matches. Been doing Hi-power a long time, have had lots of fun, done pretty well over the years, but have never made enough money to hardly notice. Gotta love it!
