Hi all,
Im new to the forum, and I have a problem with my brand new scope.
I have a Nikko Stirling Gold Crown 4-12x42 AO illuminated.
Today, I tried to sight it in on my Hatsan 125. Due to my mistake, i managed to unscrew the upper knob (for horizontal elevation) totally, and it fell of the optic sight.
Somehow I managed to screw it back in, and click is working, from what I can see (I can move reticle up and down). When I put magnification on 4x, I see something black in upper left corner, its not dirt on front of the sight. On 12x, I dont see that (nor on 6x). Also, when I turn the knob for magnification, from 4 to 12, on 6x the knob kind of get jammed, and I have to use a lot of force to put it on 7x, but from there to 12x it goes smoothly.
Did I manage to bust my scope, and what can I do? No warranty.
Thanks in advance

Re: Problem with new Nikko Stirling

Contact Legacy Sports International in Reno and tell them what happened.
They will tell you what can be done.

Nikkos are easy to come buy as many of these are packaged with the Howa 1500. Many people end up moving into a better scope, and sell their Nikoos. Just a thought if LSI cant help.
