Has anyone had good luck re-loading for the 6 creed on a progressive setup? I am eye balling staball powder and will be using up my Hornady brass and 105 custom comps. This IS NOT for competition just plinking and to get my wife more time on the trigger. I already have a good load worked up with H4350 that shoots great if I want to get serious. I am just hoping to spend less time reloading for the creed so I have more time to spend with my 300 win mag. Tried the H4350 in the progressive and it is cut the powder pieces a lot and results weren’t optimal.
    Thoughts??

Switch to a slow ball powder like StaBall6.5 or some other equivalent.

The Dillon powder drop can be very accurate +\- .2 even with Varget/H4350 rod powders IF you take some time to polish the funnel, powder bar and raceway. Info online about it and plenty good for plinking loads.

I do .223 for sure. Ball powder flows like water. 95% of the time I'm +/- 0.1gr.... EVERY once in a blue moon something sticks and it'll give me worse.

Theres plenty of guys who load their competition loads on progressives. Heres an article about it....

I've always loaded rifle rounds on a SS or turret press. I thought about loading .223 on the 650 but decided against it mostly because of having to lube cases. What do you guys do about lubing cases on a progressive loader?

What about it? I use a cheap plastic box with lid, and use a 10:1 solution of pure Lanolin and 99% alcohol mixed in a spray bottle. I put my cases in the box, make sure none are standing up, give it a couple sprays, shake it up, and go to town.

You can either wipe off the loaded rounds or give em a quick tumble in walnut media.

Progressive for rifle will change your life mannnnn *hits joint* lol. I load any and all .223 on my 550. The only reason I do 6.5cm on my turret press is so I don't have to get another toolhead, and I don't shoot as much 6.5cm as everything else.

With my .223 I size separate from loading and will do the same with the creed as well. So I live with lanolin as stated above but then I ss media tumble them again and let them dry. Then when I go to load I simply remove my sizing die and go to town priming and loading. It is slower that way but I usually do 500 or so at a time and don’t want to take the time to wipe them all off and I don’t have a dry tumbler. I think time wise it’s probably a wash but just the way I do it.

Has anyone tried the Winchester Staball in the 6mm creed? I have seen some info when searching on the 6.5 but not much in the 6.
I have been shooting 42.1gr in my 6cm. 2930fps and a SD of 5. Throwing on a harrells and checking on A&D it’s usually spot on to .02gr 85% and then it’s only +-.02. Really liking this over RL16 and H4350.
