Proof Barrels

I have a Tac II in 338 and I love it. It jumps a bit, however the rifle only weighs like 9 pounds so that contributes to it. When shooting with a break or can it’s not so bad, shooting prone I can spot my own impacts past 500. Anything inside that the rifle jumps too much to be back on target that quickly. A huge benefit is the fact that it stays cool. With other 338s I’ve shot, the barrels heat up tremendously after just a few rounds and the poi will start to shift, but I haven’t ever seen that with the proof barrel.
