According to whom?</div></div>
According to me. No barrel comes from the factory fully 100% devoid of imperfections. So if I spend a few rounds cleaning those up, I see no harm in it. The key is to not go overboard. </div></div>
HaHaHa... That's funny. Here's the flaw in your thinking: What makes you think that firing a "few rounds" with cleaning in between is going to clean up imperfections. Last time I checked Steel was tougher than Copper. On a new Factory barrel, if the accuracy is affected by imperfections in the barrel, throw that barrel away and start over. On a new Custom Barrel, if the accuracy is affected by imperfections in the barrel, call the Barrel Maker and hand him his ASS for selling you a piece if shit and have him replace it for free. A little copper in the bore is GOOD. Don't clean it all back out.
