OK, so I finally got around to posting some pictures of my new "coffee camo" GAP build. As always, they did a great job. Here are some specs:

23" barrel, fluted w/ Titan brake
    McM A1-3 Coffee Camo stock
    Badger M-5 Bottom Metal
Templar lefty action (the way God designed human beings to work, before you righty's took over the world)
    Cerakote patriot brown

Derrick, It's a 308 (suppose I should have included that in the OP, ops). 11.25 twist and the whole kit comes in at 11 lbs. About the wait: I waited for a little over 8 months . . . BUT, I also gave them a totally blank stock. It needed a complete inlet job, cut to my LOP, studs, etc. A little longer than I was expecting, but the wait was worth it. Just got done with barrel break-in so now I'm waiting for a decent Missouri day to work on groups and drop charts.

ha ha that cracked me up. I first saw it and thought of the coloration on copperheads. . .

HA! Kinda does look like that. When I dropped the stock off George walked me back to the gun room to look at possible cerakote colors that would best match it. (If you haven't seen the gun room at GAP it is quite a thing to behold.) George showed one of the smiths the stock and he said the same thing. Maybe GA could market the new "GAP-Neo" camo pattern to all us gun-totin' ice cream lovers.

Nothing great, but here are a couple of range pictures at the farm I shoot at. The corn is in so I can only shoot a couple hundred yards. When it's down I can get to 550. It was CRAZY hot that day - the rifle is covered to keep it cooler. Last one is a pic of the first group I shot with it cleaning between rounds - I don't think she likes the 155's!

Just a little Rem oil. I have some Bore Tech tef-dri. Would that be a good think to put on instead of the oil?

Nice gun. Very interesting camo colors. The Patriot Brown is a definite winner. I'm definitely going to have to look at that color for my next build. Thanks for posting.

The Patriot Brown is a sweet color. When I saw it I immediately knew that's what I wanted. FDE is a little too light for my liking. I think a sweet looking build would be a desert multicam stock with darker shades (something like what shortbus has done in the past) and all the metal in PB. Food for thought!

Nice idea. I wonder how that PB would go with a stock hydro-dipped with an A-TACS camo pattern.

I'm thinking that would look sick. That A-TACS pattern melts into surrounding cover. I want to see pics if you do it!

Yeah. I agree. If I do it I'll definitely post pics.

No idea but I'm calling to find out how much the hydro-dipping runs. I'll post numbers when I get them.

True dat. All the pricing info is on their website. This build ran me $3470 and I bought the stock separately for $350. Grand total: $3820. GAP quality, reliability, and accuracy: priceless!

Sorry, haven't checked my thread in a couple days - it's a Sendero contour. I can't wait to take it and see what groups it will shoot! Once I got it sighted in during barrel break-in it was shooting Hornady 155gr TAP in the 1/2 to 3/4 inch range.
