PRS production build?

Looking at trying to build out a PRS build for production class. Was looking at the Tikka CTR and the Bergara B14 HMR. Im leaning towards the CTR with a 24 inch barrel in 6.5CM. Dropping it in a MDT ACC chassis with a Leupold Mark 5 HD 7x35 scope?

Im coming from NRL22/Mars and liked that alot and want to shoot bigger calibers farther but use the NRL22 to work on fundamentals that hopefully transfer over. Does that make sense and sound like a good first setup?

oh your kidding.... I had no clue. I thought it was stay under 2500. Shoot hopefully someone can confirm or deny that. If thats the case what are most people doing for a production rifle?

I don't why "open" class scares me to death competing with a lower end rifle....

You will be shooting against all the shooters anyhow. Don't get bogged down in a specific class

Production is a joke. Set up the rifle the way you want and shooot open. Nothing to be scared of. Same course of fire.

If your really get scared shoot a 223rem and when you start scoring the same as some of the open guys. If you don't your shooting a 223rem. But it makes you feel something special inside.

And don't shoot production just to get a plaque
