I'm looking for a 5.56 14.5" Chrome-Lined M4 barrel and my usual source (BCM) has been OOS forever-and-a-day. I'm wondering if anyone here has first-hand experience with the Palmetto State Armory Chrome-Lined M4 barrels? Anyone know who makes them for PSA? I tried one of their lower parts kits a while back and was less than impressed but I've heard some good things about their complete uppers so I'm having a hard time deciding whether to give one of their barrels a try.

Yes, they are milspec and seem to run very well, accuracy seems on par with most other chrome lined carbines like LMT, stag, etc.
They have VERY good customer service, I have been a regular customer for 6 years now.

I helped a friend put together a 16" PSA rifle kit. Shoots fine. Barrel looks like either FN or DDefense to me.

FN barrels..... All reviews and friends who have them love em..... Their displacer is my next purchase.

PSA gets at least a portion of their barrels from FN, which I think might have a location in the same region of South Carolina as PSA.

I've also heard great things about the FN barrels. Another barrel to look into is Criterion. They are a sister company of Kreiger & in talking to Jerry Miculek the other day he said he really likes them. The price is reasonable too.
