    not a commercial, but an update.

    I know we have had customers on wait list or who have paid for the Gen 3XR scope back to November, and I know other dealers have the same issue. For current orders, ATI / TT had advised us to quote 3 to 4 month wait times. We just got this information in this morning, for orders we placed in November, that no scopes will ship from TT until late March or early April.

    I suspect this is a volume thing, where Tangent Theta takes their time building scopes, and the number of orders for the Gen 3XR reticle has overwhelmed them. Good for them. Not so good for customers waiting on the new reticle.

    We are continuing to take orders and to send purchase orders to ATI, but as you can see, we are adjusting our expectations on delivery.
     
    Longshot2000, how often and how many Gen3XR you guys get? 1 or 2 a month?

    a bit more than that, but we are not huge high volume. We get a shipment each week from ATI, which includes Elcan and Tangent Theta. Growing. Our TT volume is a lot bigger than last year. The Gen 3XR is just not moving from the mother ship in the last month. Not just us, but every dealer.

    I kid of course. That guy works hard! I'm glad the scopes can't leave the shop without his personal seal of approval.
     
    Anyone else having a problem communicating with this vendor? I've left a couple PM's Friday and Monday and no response. Called and you get a poor automated answering service. Trying to get a refund for a TT ordered in December.
