Psl-54c paratrooper

I recently purchased this DMR and love it I was just curious if anybody else has shot these DMR rifles and what was your experience.

For the money you probably spent, you could have been 3/4 of the way paying for a nice custom build that would put that rifle to shame. Those PSL's are good for a couple hundred yards, but you are stretching the limits in my opinion past 500 unless you dont care shooting at a barn side all day. You have to watch for corrosive ammo, as it will eat your rifle like a Toyota on a strip job with rust. Ammonia is the best cleaning method, so be ready to scrub.

All in all, the PSL's are great if you are a type of collector, and they will shoot under terrible conditions just like its baby brother, and for a bug-out survival zombie Obama-Apocalypse gun, they are great. Just dont get your feelings hurt if it does not compete with your buddies LR-308, AR-10, Bolt-Action platforms.

I shot one a couple years back but was only out to just over 300 yds. I thought it was cool for what it was and can appreciate its purpose. The ammo was just surplus stuff we picked up real cheap, it was accurate enough to hit the paper plates that we were shooting at. Would I buy one myself? Sure, if I found one in the right price range I would probably pick one up.

Enjoy your new rifle and like 6xcKY said, watch for that corrosive ammo.
