Suppressors Pss owners

I just bought a p1 and ps this year. I'm thinking the pss might just be the perfect addition to a light hunting rifle. I have a 20" fluted 308 with a lighter scope and it makes about the perfect do it all big game gun. I put a jp tank brake on it for the fastest possible follow up shot.

Pss owners would you think the little can would be the better replacement for the crazy loud tank brake?

Well, the PSS would certainly be quieter than the brake. The PSS isn't really that quiet on a 308 but takes the edge of it a little if that makes sense.

I just bought a PSS to use with my 300 blkout subs and I intend to use it hunting as well. I don't have it yet so I'm tagging this to see the replies.

If you just need to take the edge off, the 30PSS will work. If you want good suppression, go with the 30PS. The 30PSS was as short as we could go and keep a SBR AR-15 .300 Blackout's muzzle report about the same as the noise coming back to the shooter from the action.

Good to know Zak. I'm basically looking for the smallest added length that reduces recoil for the quickest follow up, but isn't increasing the noise like the brake. I have the p1 and ps waiting at my dealer for the form 4s to come in. Just thinking about if the extra 2" off the ps will still do what I want and be even handier.
