Hi Guys,
Is there anyone out there with a pair of Viper PSTs where one is SFP & other one is FFP? *NF & other scopes that offers same model in FFP & SFP welcome...
Would it be possible to post comparative through scope photos on different magnifications?
IE: on a 500yard target both scopes set to 6x ; 12x ; 16x…24x?
That ought to give a nice idea to people not quite up to speed with SFP/FFP what actually happens .As well as to show how much difference there is between a SFP at max & min magnification vs. the FFP at same magnification…

I hope this makes sense & would love to get some response….

I'll tell you what I had both the FFP and the SFP. The FFP hit the road and I haven't looked back. The FFP crosshairs look huge to me when trying to shoot precision Longrange.

That would be one of the things we would be able to see & decide for one self

Something I noticed that isn't mentioned is the SFP has 3 mils holdover in each direction, and the FFP has 8 mils. I like the thinness of the SFP, but since I never dial windage, the FFP suits me better. I wish they would do a reticle like the FFP Viper HS scopes, but in mils, not MOA. The open center reticle mostly corrects the thick reticle problem present in FFP scopes.

Thx temp,
I hope some more guys will post, I was hoping to get pictures through both and pionting at same target, but this is a good start...
First prize for me would be aFFP 6-24 PST EBR1 MIL but with open center like XLR. I am no expert, but XLR is a bit on the busy side... I agree with you on dialing in drop & hold wind/lead...

Re: PST FFP/SFP Side By Side Through Scope Photos

I have the Weaver Tactical with the Enhanced Mill Dot Reticle and I do not like the Center Cross Hair not being there... I Prefer to have the actual line to be able to focus on before the shot.. However I have not really had a problem with the reticle blocking the target, but I have not been able to shoot very long range (Past 300 yds) to be able to tell..

I just ordered the PST FFP 6-24x and after seeing the FFP on the weaver, I can't wait for it to get here already...

Good Luck...
