33 year old dad was on TV 2 days ago saying he hoped his missing pregnant wife and 2 live daughters were safe and ok.

Now he is in jail and has confessed to killing them.

My heart is broken and I am fuckin pissed.

There is no punishment in the conventional sense. Punishment implies that one can atone for his mistake after the punishment is served. This just requires execution to rid him from society. It is a public service.

I have changed my position on this.
The authorities don't need to deliver him to me.
I will fire up my Mighty Fine Pickin Up truck and pick him up where ever they have him, Free of Charge. No cost to the taxpayers.
I would, of course, load on some new barb wire and baling wire to secure the load before I head up to get him.
I would load him feet first in the bed of the Mighty Fine and secure his scrotum to the Goose Neck ball in the center of the bed and use barbed wire to secure him at all 4 corners of the bed, naked as the day he was born, so the sun can do it's work, then the long road to his final destination. It would take several applications of the brakes to slide him forward onto that Goose Neck ball along the way.
When we get to his destination, all bets are off and I won't tell you what would happen but it would take a long time.
No burial would be needed, the Buzzards will take care of that.
If he has confessed to this horrible crime and there is no doubt he did it, I am ready to go, but he does need a Day in Court so everyone is sure.
To say this has upset me would really be an understatement. I have My Squaw and 3 fine kids and even though the Squaw pissed me off a time or two or a gross of times I cannot understand how someone could do this to young children. I do understand his Wife to a degree but that is slight. Better to just leave and sort it out later.

I know I am in an extreme minority here in regards to prison or jail. I personally disagree with the “prison justice system” as a whole and would rather see prison just plain suck as administered as a punishment to pay for their crimes. All crimes. Even “white collar” crap.

If done right, recidivism for non-life term crimes should be amazingly low.

And screw prison for illegals. Just send em to where they came from so we dont spend another damn dime on em. Dont even waste money on a trial.

The above is the same excuse that lead to folks like these not getting the chair.
We placate and call it a disease, they are evil/do evil deeds.

I wont lie. I was in church for early service today at 0800 and those little girls and the mom and baby where so heavy in my mind. I spent a lot of time ignoring the music and praying for them.
This just keeps hitting me hard. Makes me love all of mine (momma and kids) even more, hug em longer, tell em i love you more too.
Funny after all the stuff I have seen and done that this hits me like this now.

More info out. Looks like a pile of debt ($400k, unsure if it included the house) including a bankruptcy filed in 2015 and a baby on the way.
For sure a sociopath to do a calm TV interview later that day after killing them, talking about them all glowing and happy.

More info suggests she was very happy in the marriage and he may have been the one unhappy and possibly having another lover. Still doesn't pass the litmus test of any explainable reason to commit a triple homicide against your own wife and children. Especially since there's no follow through plan about what to do after the murders and how to cover your tracks so you can live out your life with your new lover sans ex wife and kids. It really appears to be a crime of passion/opportunity. But why? I have a sick feeling there will be no rhyme or reason for his actions. Not that it would excuse or even help me to understand but it would give me a "now I can understand why".

PHound, and others, I hope this is not TLDR. This one is bothering me a lot too, it is always on my mind and I don't know why? Maybe it is because of his interview on the local TV news and how calm and collected he was yet put out a plea for his wife and children to come "Home."
Then the next day he admits to having killed them when the cops interview him.
Many of the people on the Hide don't get to see all of the News reports we see here locally as they have their own problems in their areas so it may not affect them as much as it does the locals here.
In one of the News reports that came out, it was reported that the Wife's body was found in a shallow grave on an Anadarco oil location and the 2 children were found in an Oil tank or separation pit on site. They didn't make that clear, but under the crude oil on the surface of the tank or pit or what ever. He was hoping nobody would smell that something was in there as the crude oil floats on top as they are decomposing on the bottom. and crude oil stinks anyway.
I have worked in the Oil Patch for years out here and KNOW that is the last place I want to be sent to clean up. That shit is GROSS smelly and nasty let alone put bodies in them, but everybody burns gasoline or diesel fuel so it is needed.
I Pray for the Dead, but I also pray on another level.

Last nights News and this AM News now say he had asked his pregnant wife for a separation as he was having an affair with someone from his work and later he sees on the Baby monitor that she is choking out their children so in a fit of rage he goes and kills her but the children are already dead? Here come the lawyers and his defense team to tell him what to say. None the less;

He then loaded their bodies in his truck and transported them to an oil location and disposed of them instead of calling the LEOs in to check it out as to what went down.

I am not believing anything he has to say now, especially after he has lawyers involved. I will believe what he first said before the lawyers were involved and he was on TV asking for them to "Please come HOME." [ knowing they were dead,] I know that LEO can be brutal in interrogation and they need to be to get to the Nitty Gritty. They did their job.

Having worked in the Oil Patch for years, I know where I would put a body if I had felt the need to off someone and that is where he put them and it is a nasty place, covered with Crude and acidic waters under the Crude.

We should spend what little time we have on productive things that will help our fellow man.
