Has anyone tried this out?

Thoughts? Was inletting hard? How much had to be done to get it to fit? Trying to help out a friend so he can do some PRS matches with me. The stock four rounder and PRS doesn't really mesh very well.
For not a ton more money you could do a Magpul Hunter that is compatible with AICS mags. It would also have the benefit of a much nicer and more functional stock.

I would love to do a Magpul or a factory stock, but this is a left handed rifle. I can't find a stock/chassis for a left handed RAP to save my life....

If you buy the Magpul, you can just file a relief for the bolt handle on the left side of the stock and it’ll be fine. Seen several folks do it on the ruger American Facebook page.

Oh awesome! THANK YOU. I will definitely be looking into this.

If it helps your decision at all, I had a magpul and it was a really well made stock. Fed my 6.5 creed wonderfully and was super comfy to shoot. Switched to a chassis for now. Hoping grayboe releases a stock for them this summer..... now if that dang PVA barrel will show up in a timely manner lol
