I am wondering if this bottom metal will ever be available for Savage 10 rifles? Are there any plans for that? I searched but couldn't find much..

PTG Stealth Bottom Metal for Savage?

I've been trying to get a straight answer from PTG on this for the last week. The first person I spoke with said it was "in production" and they hoped to release it this year. They unfortunately could not answer any techncal questions. For instance I am "assuming" it is for AICS/AE series magazines and would utilize the existing Savage factory DBM inlet? They said they would talk to Earl and get back to me. Ashley did call me back Friday but did not answer either of my questions in her voicemail.
I'm at the planning stages of a Savage 6.5 SAUM build and need to make a decision on DBM. I did reach out to Dan at Darke Eagle Customs, whom already makes a 5 round WSM mag, to see if he would make a few 7-10 rounders.

Looks like somebody already makes a drop in DMB for a SA Savage that takes AICS/AE series magazines. Unless I'm missing something obvious, which is highly likely!

Any reason you wouldn't get one from CDI Precision? Not only makes them for the 10 model, occasionally runs group buys here.
+1...CDI will also drop into a Savage factory DBM inlet with very little or no 'tweaking'.
I heard from PTG while at lunch and they said "real soon" on release. They are double checking on the AICS/AE style mags and factory Savage inlet, but where fairly certain that info was correct. Price should be around $120 for DMB no magazine included.

Can you elaborate? I have an Accustock Savage with DBM. Are you saying the CDI will fit with a little tweaking?
This is why I am interested in PTG that "$120", yes I know I may be a tight wad, but I can use money I saved on plenty of other things(ammo, bipod,barrel, etc.)

I got a callback from Ashley and she did confirm AI style mags and factory Savage inlet for most model 10 DBM's. I have a 12LRP and it will fit that style.
Also they are accepting pre-orders at this time hoping to ship in 3-4 weeks.
As I stated previoulsy it will fit my Savage 12LRP. It is 4.40" spacing, center feed, and side bolt release. Call PTG and speak with Ashley for specific questions if you are unsure about your rifle. They have not released it yet, but "soon".
I've been trying to find out if they will offer one for a 110, but have not been successful. Anyone know?
