Movie Theater Punisher: War Zone

Anybody else like Punisher: War Zone? I loved it! I think Ray Stevenson plays Frank Castle far better than Dolph Lundgren & Thomas Jane.

I have to say my favorite scenes were definitely the kill scenes. 3 in particular.

The scene where he throws that guy with the dreadlocks down & impales him on the fence & then jumps off of the building & stomps his neck, snapping it like a twig! hahaha!

The scene where one of Jigsaw's goons is checking the house because they heard glass break & he stops to do a line of cocaine & Frank punches him in the face & caves his whole head in! loooool! That was over the top!

Finally, the scene right after caving that dude's head in. The one where the cop says "You're under arrest" to one of Jigsaw's goons & Frank just blows his head clean off with the shotgun. You don't really see that one coming!

Anyway, I just watched the movie & figured some of you sickos enjoyed it as much as I did!

Damn! Out of all the guys on this forum nobody liked War Zone? Oh well... I thought it was badass. I'm a Punisher fan from way on back in the day, so go figure.

Really liked the Tom Jane version. Thought War Zone sucked. Couldn't even get through the whole thing on PPV. Just my opinion.

+1 for The Punisher starring Thomas Jane. After seeing the previews for WarZone, I decided it was too damned stupid for me to spend money on. I'm glad that I didn't watch it after seeing other reviews.

I thought the 2004 Punisher was cheesy... it had a few good kills but overall I got bored with it. It wasn't THAT bad but I thought War Zone kicked it's ass.

War Zone had tons of gore & was just more brutal in general. The Punisher is supposed to be dark & ultra violent. Ray Stevenson just reminded me of the Punisher in the comics more.

To each his own I guess.
