My good buddy Josh Kunz at Patriot Valley Arms (PVA) is going full time into the gunsmithing business. No longer slaving for the man, but instead focused on his own business! Congratulations and best of luck. PVA has done great work for several years now and I'm sure the 100% focus will drive even more success.

I had one of his 308 "specials" out yesterday, shooting the 198gr Flatline. First round hit at 1298yds! Drove 3 more rounds into essentially the same hole. His products - rifles and bullets - flat out shoot.

Josh does great work and I am sure he will be very successful. Always good to have another excellent smith out there. Congrats Josh.

Stand up guy, actually talked me out of a project last year. Said he would take my money but gave me great information to guide me work on a project which he will get one day.

He's not really a new shop, Josh has been PVA for at least a few years, and has a following. Rightly so, he knows what he's doing and has great attention to detail, so his rifles/barreled actions are lasers. With his CNC lathe he can bang out a perfect chamber/tenon in a fraction of the time it takes me on my engine lathe...It's true, I'm jealous.

'Evening, Gentlemen

It's true, I'm now full time with PVA and getting things back on track with lead times. I never thought I'd say this but I might be getting a little tired of cutting Dashers! Almost a dozen in the last 3 days alone working out the orders along with 6.5 Creed and a number of 260's that have been here for a while. I will have to post up a pic of the Minuteman Dashers right before they get all boxed up and shipped. There's a row of them and spare barrels to go with it.


Anyway, please hit me up with PM's or emails. I'm doing my best to catch up on emails, phones, etc in a day or two. If you get VM during the day it's because I'm focused on cutting chips and I try hard to keep my mind on that for both safety and quality reasons.

Bighorn shipped me almost 3 dozen backordered receivers in the last couple of days and more are coming.


Annnnnnd we have a new shop puppy. I still miss my old buddy Jules and the house/shop seemed so empty without a dog. Archie is now filling it in and making the place his own. Literally. Peed on the floor within seconds of coming home the first time.

Hahah! Sick of Dashers. I love it. :)

Personally I'm glad you talked us all into them, great caliber for sure.

Once get past tax day will talk about that 6.5 SAUM again :) take your mind off the Dashers.
