No way to know since ARC never stated themselves that was the plan.
Hi,
Well on that premise...Did they state otherwise?

Now we are just getting silly..hahaha. Im happy with my barreled action from PVA and the Nucleus performs great so no matter the wait everyone will be satisfied once they receive them.Hi,
Well on that premise...Did they state otherwise?

Why is ARC getting actions out before PVA? Because ARC was building Nucleus actions while PVA was still waiting on the variance approval from the ATF. You have to remember, ARC had approval of the Nucleus long before the variance was approved for the John Hancock. The ATF screwed PVA and ARC around, and drug them down the road so long, that they are having to play serious catch up with the JHR. ARC was not allowed to make the actions for the John Hancock until the variance had been approved. ARC was not going to stand around and not make actions while waiting on the variance approval. They were making Nucleus actions to sell. That's why there are more Nucleus actions available than there are JHRs.
Like Schmi015 said, on top of everything else, suppliers became problem. ARC and PVA both have invested many thousands of dollars on machinery and new employees so they wouldn't be dependent on outside vendors. AND...while all this was going on, PVA moved into a new facility that would accommodate the new machinery and employees. Go back and read this whole thread.
I guarantee you, nobody is more upset with the time this is taking than Josh. You want to blame somebody, blame the ATF. I don't know Josh, and I don't know Ted, but I've gotten to "know" them through these threads, and I could just about guarantee you that they are doing everything that they can to get these rifles out the door. In the mean time, both Ted and Josh have companies to run.
Hey look everyone, he's being reasonable! GET HIM!
No. He is conflating issues. Nice try though.
No, he was participating in the discussion without being a crying bitch. Give it a try some time.
Reading comprehension, and a good understanding of a discussion, is usually a good idea before jumping on people and showing your ignorance. Maybe you should give it a try.
As noted, the post you quoted wasn’t even relevant to the issue people have with the barreled actions.
<deleted>
Whatever makes you feel special, little guy.Wow, way to keep digging when you're in a hole. I would try to explain to you but clearly its pointless. I'll happily skip over your ignorant posts and even go back and delete mine that referenced you, no need to waste any time with you.
@TheMammoth , you seem to be ignoring the elephant (or mammoth) in the room that is you ignoring the entire point of what people have said to you.
The recent complaints have been about barreled action lead times. Actions are shipping from ARC directly, yet ARC isn't shipping them to PVA to fulfill pre-orders from as early as January.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that you aren't a "crying bitch", as you claim, to point out how terrible of customer service that is from ARC. It's called being a logical and rational person who realizes that it is, indeed, not normal for any company to ship orders this wildly out of the order in which they were placed.
- Ted is making and shipping Nucleus actions, so he's not focusing on JHRs and ignoring Nucleus actions. People ordering a Nucleus from ARC in the past few months have received them.Maybe Josh and Ted have some other agreement. Maybe Ted is more focused on completing
the order Josh placed for the JHR’s.
- Josh had posted earlier that he sent Nucleus B/A order times to Ted so that they could be integrated in to ARC's deliveries. That doesn't sound like they had an agreement that PVAs orders would be lower priority than retail. (Though current situation sure indicates retail has priority)Also Ted may have something in his contract with Josh that his retail customers take priority over a wholesale order.
Some repeating of info to address comments:

I don't have time to call during their hours, but I did email ARC last week. No response as of yet.
I feel really bad for anyone ordering a Nucleus barreled action during the BF sale as those are going to take forever with this current fulfillment approach. Orobably even longer than the year for those who pre-ordered last Jan/Feb.
There are a lot of maybes here. I understand Josh not wanting to say more, or say anything bad about ARC as they are his partners and together are delivering the Hancock. But I wish ARC would provide at least some clarity or information on how the ARC ordered nucleus actions are being prioritized vs retail shipments and what quantities will be shipped to PVA when.
I've been waiting since February. All I've said since ordering was asking what accessories to buy. My J.H. parts are being used on other guns until it arrives.
What are the bottom rail options for the Bravo that people prefer?
Sling options?
Also are J.H. barrels and Nucleus barrels interchangeable?
I used the spigot from KRG along with their direct bipod mount. Puts the bipod up much closer to the barrel.KRG make a ARCA rail for the bravo. That’s what I’m using. JHR and Nucleus barrels are interchangeable. No clue on sling. Everyone likes something different.
The spigot is nice if you only shoot from prone. Having the bipod on a ARCA rail gives more flexibility from compromised shooting positions.I used the spigot from KRG along with their direct bipod mount. Puts the bipod up much closer to the barrel.

Is there a direct spigot mount for an atlas bipod
or
should I just get the area419 Arca atlas, arca spigot, and arca rail. Seems then I could move the bipod from spigot to arca rail in seconds.
I ordered 1/19/18 and received my barrelled action 11/6/18. I originally ordered a JHR but changed it to a barrelled action in June 2018.It's almost SHOT show 2019.
Has everyone who ordered a JH or Nucleus barreled action around SHOT show 2018 received their rifles/barreled actions?
Ordered a barrel action 1/22, nothing yetI ordered 1/19/18 and received my barrelled action 11/6/18. I originally ordered a JHR but changed it to a barrelled action in June 2018.
Is it the universal or the mlock 419 rail? Can you share a picture of how the area 419 arcalock attaches to the KRG? Ive been contemplating getting it for me xray but not sure how the holes line up etcI have two rifles currently sitting in bravo chassis, the JH will be the third.
Spigot Mount for bipod, puts it farther out and much closer to barre which I like.
I have recently switched the KRG rail to the Area419 Arca lock rails and they fit fine and are really very nice. Their new bag and clamp system is great, and their barricade stop is perfect.

I’d like to see as well if you don’t post on this thread. Pm them to me as well thanks!Universal 12” rail. I’ll take some photos when I get home early this week.
I would like let give a little input from us at ARC regarding the Nucleus actions for PVA. Our intention was always to ship orders as they were received whether it was direct or through PVA. Now with that said we also wanted to make sure the actions we ship get into the end users hands as soon as possible and not have them sitting on our shelf or PVA's. This is where we had some miscommunication between our companies. The intention was to ship actions to PVA and as they barreled and shipped them out we would provide them with more as needed. No sense in either one of us holding inventory when there are orders that can be delivered immediately. Obviously this did not work out as well as we hoped. At this point all we can do is try an get everyone that ordered an action one as soon as possible. Last week we sent out 36 more Nucleus actions to PVA so hopefully some of you will start seeing your orders being shipped soon. We will be able to provide PVA any pre-ordered actions as fast as they need them from now on. I know this has been very frustrating for the ones that have had to wait so long for their action an we apologize for that. This last year has been like none other for us at ARC. We have had lots of challenges and growing pains to say the least but I can assure you we are stronger for it. We have identified what we need work on a tackled it head on. We are currently implementing a new inventory and order fulfillment system which will help us tremendously on tracking and delivering orders to our customers.
Cheers
I’m curious about the new bolt head as well. I can’t really use my Tubb t7t because it makes closing the bolt really stiff.
There is a new design that should help with the bump on close issue. We will be offering an exchange program for anyone that is experiencing this issue very soon.
Dang! I’m #2096 and LH 6mm also. No notification yet.Order #2087 and just paid in full!
FYI this is for a left-handed 6mm.
For the folks who recently paid, is it for JHR? Or Barreled Action? When did u guys order from PVA?
@karagias @Jon_ARC
So when I got my action back from ARC, my .380 (.378) bolt head was not with it. I called them and they said that they had found some sort of defect in the .380 bolt heads, one that nobody but them had noticed yet. They said that they would send me one from a new batch once they got some made. The guy I talked to said they would try to keep up with the fact that they needed to send me one, but I might have to call and remind them.
I haven't been able to shoot in a while, so I only got around to calling to remind them last week, and they quickly sent it to me. I just got it in the mail and found that the lug cams have been redesigned!!!
I swapped bolt heads and, man - the difference is huge! The redesigned lug cams make the action cycle so much more smoothly! As I've discussed before, with my other bolt head (old design lug cams), when the lugs make contact there is an abrupt catch that takes 8.5 lbs of force to overcome. With this one, you can still feel when the lugs make contact if you are paying attention; however it only takes 3.25 lbs of force to close and it feels like a smooth transition rather than a catch.
ARC did a great job on this redesign, and I appreciate that they listened to my feedback and decided to try something new. Virtual high-five, Ted! I only wish both of my bolt heads had the new lugs!
Bolt Upgrade
ARC has been listening to comments from owners and has decided to upgrade the bolt heads to get rid of the bump some people were experiencing when closing the bolt. All of the actions moving forward will include the new bolts.
Anyone that has already received their Nucleus or John Hancock rifle can request a new bolt head from ARC, under warranty, once they become available. We will release an email when they become available. Please do not fill up their inbox with requests at this time. The current bolt heads still work fine. This is just an upgrade for how the action feels during cycling and does not affect function.
Order #2087 and just paid in full!
FYI this is for a left-handed 6mm.
John Hancock hereFor the folks who recently paid, is it for JHR? Or Barreled Action? When did u guys order from PVA?
My JHC is a magnum bolt face. Was the bump issue only specific to the 308 bolt face or does mine need to be replaced also? There is a new design that should help with the bump on close issue. We will be offering an exchange program for anyone that is experiencing this issue very soon.
They mentioned in a prior post (different thread) they would be sending an email out to everyone effected. Also TexasTW stated above only the 380/223 bh was involved. My JHC is a magnum bolt face. Was the bump issue only specific to the 308 bolt face or does mine need to be replaced also?
