Anyone put one of these together that can provide feedback on how well it works. Will be using a WP Insight PVS-14 and Meopta 20-60x spotter. Looking to spot long range shooting at night. Actual Functionality, distances used, preferred adapters etc is much appreciated. Have IR illuminators capable of reaching out as well. Thanks in advance.

I can't speak to the spotting scope that you have, but I have used the Badger Ordnance SNAP to attach my PVS-14 to my MK4 Spotting Scope. It works great, depending on the ambient light of course. Not sure what your ocular lens size is but it may work for you as well. The SNAP has a good lock up and is rugged enough for anything it will encounter while out hunting.

good info. Theoretically with good illumination (30mW PEQ on high) and a good moon in the desert lets say, what kind of range can be spotted? 1000 yrds, 1500Yrds, more?

1000+. I can clearly see and engage the man sized targets at 1km with the MK4/PVS-14 combo with the ELIR-3.

That said I think the ELIR with the filter removed is much higher in power than 30mW. Its flat out fucking dangerously powerful.

Look to see if Monoloc makes an adapter for your spotter.

I usually use a Spotter 60 with the Badger mount and a PVS30 and PEQ2A or PEQ15 and PLRF15 on the Ashbury mount on top.

But if using just a PVS14 the Monoloc works perfectly.

You can also make one/have one made. A member here made the mount for me, it's just a piece of industrial plastic spun on a lathe with a cutout for the on switch. The inside is bored out so the 14 and USO observation scope don't touch but come close; this particular scope has a really long eye relief FWIW. I threaded and installed helicoil inserts and use nylon 1/4-20 bolts to hold 'em in place. It'll require adj. of focus. You can also burn an image in quick with one this way, in part because it's stationary and in part because it's magnified light I'm guessing. Be careful with PEQ's and staying in one spot too long, or street lights, etc. Turn it off when not in use and move it around some when in use. Again, be damn careful using the PEQ and keep it minimal.

Monoloc is a good place to go to if you aren't gonna DIY it. What German did with the PVS30 is the best way and how you're "supposed" to do it, but if you only have one, well, you're gonna want that on the rifle and I get it.

Here's my DIY setup. It's far from ideal but it gets the job done and was done on a post-divorce budget. $1160 not counting the PEQ and PVS using parts that were not meant to be used this way, so where there's a will there's a way. Of course if you can afford another PVS30, then that's the route to go for sure.
