So, my quick look indicates the 320 will likely be Breach type performance. Same size lens and Boson Core.
That 640 Boson unit might hold some promise with the 640 core and bigger lens.
Some of their gear has been getting some pretty decent reviews over on the Late Night Vision Show IIRC.

Why do I think this is based on data breaches/hacks by the Chinese military? Those specs sound to similar to be an accident.
I hear ya. I have been patiently waiting on a US company to manufacture on US soil a 640 unit that is designed from the get go to be bridged with a PVS 14....at a $2500-$5k price point. If only Flir would have released a Breach V2 that upped the 320 to 640 and tweaked the mount they’d own the market. But does not look like it is going to happen by any of our manufacturers.......at least in 2020. At least the AGM may give the option of being serviced in the USA.
The specs from Flir show the Breach having a 16 mm eye relief......that is what my Helion had and I could not get the entire screen view due to my glasses not allowing the unit close enough to my eyes. I am tilting towards copycatting your setup but I am concerned over that detail. I have no eye relief issues at all with my PVS-14. Have you or any of your hunting group run the Breach with glasses and had any problems getting a good view of the screen without it being a tunnel effect? And can you pop the rubber eye cup off the eyepiece to bring it closer to the eye and/or give a little more viewing area to the screen? Thanks in advance!
Sent AGM a request for info and they say it will be at least October to November before it is released. They did say it is designed to be dual mounted. But no other specs are available for now.
Yes sir I am pretty sure that sums it up! Did get me a little spooked as they also said the eye relief could not be confirmed until production....which tells me they probably have not even started making them and don’t know all the specs themselves!
Ok, I have to wear reading glasses for close up view. .However, whenever running a PVS 14 or Breach I adjust the diopters such that I have perfect vision through then.
Yes, you can easily remove the Flir eyecup. In fact I do not wear eyecups much at all on my setups. Typically I will run one of Jay's SNR filters on a PVS 14 and on a Breach I put a Butler Creek Blizzard Size No 3 scope cover on my Breach Ocular end.
A lot of the time I wear my NODS & Breach pretty far away from my eyes, because of high humidity and steam sweating off of me in the middle of the summer at night hunting hogs. During the period we term "dog days" very little wind and high humidity makes you sweat a lot and if you run any NODS close to your face you can run into a fogging issue.
The Breach has a pretty wide FOV at 24 x 19 degrees so even running them far out still provides a ton of FOV.

You really think AGM made the tube? I’d be skeptical of that... very few outfits making tubes nowadays. That sounds more like they’re just putting an Elbit tube into their own housings.
The only thing I’ve been impressed with recently is the Skeet-IR X... and that is $15k...
I really doubt an Elbit high S/N tube is going to suck, but is seems their halo and EBI needs improvement.
The Intens tubes are nice as well, and are just as good in all but the darkest environments that you’d be using an illuminator in anyway.
If you go down the L3 filmless path, make sure its as close to a 40 S/N ratio as you can find... because for the extra cash you want it to be much better than either a high FOM Elbit or Intens.

From the footage/pics I've seen, the Intens look almost identical to the Echos (darker then gen 3), so I don't know if the performance will be that much better than Echo to justify the extra $$ (Intens more than Echo).
I can't say that is 100% accurate however since I've never used an Intens. I've had an Echo WP and the Intens footage looks pretty much the same to me. It would be great to hear from someone who's had both, if there is any significant difference between them.

Lets put it this way, I’ve compared the Intens to the OMNI VII ANVIS and the Intes holds its own nicely. (There is no apparent difference.)
With the L3 unfilmed and a significantly higher Signal to Noise ratio, the L3 is nicer.
Any of your run of the mill not 35+S/N tubes that are filmed are not going to compete in EBI or Halo...
Its truely our current high end (and very expensive) stuff that shows a difference.
Where the Intens shines is the low to high light transition. Similar to the ICT labs power supplies from several hears ago.

This is on a tester at the lowest light sensitivity... as to be expected, the human eyeball see this much cleaner - it is at half gain:

One thing to note is that the pictures don’t usually do things justice...
The eyeball see you through those tubes so much better than the camera. And it even seems cameras like the green tube is better and take cleaner pictures through those.
Tell me more please sir. Could you post the specs on this unit. I am assuming it is L3 Filmless.
