Q made a chassis

To comment on the magazine. Having looked at the photographs the same magazine is being used in the Accuracy International AX chassis. Therefore is would be safe to believe the Fix Chassis uses AICS pattern magazines.

For those complaining that the weight of the chassis (mostly the light rear) wouldn’t make it a good choice for comps, the chassis is only a steel clamp on bag rider away from being a well balanced rifle with a heavy barrel. This could easily be done in a part that’s removable so you can spin on a Proof barrel and have a switch barrel do it all rifle. Just something to ponder if you’re actually interested... If you’re just looking for a reason to write it off then it’s probably no help but Q shit is awesome and it’s you who’s missing out.
You can make anything work for any situation, but for this amount of money, there are much better choices for a competition rig

I got word that the first batch of Mini’s just shipped.

Really? Care to share more info? It’s been a year since I ordered mine and I can’t get a fucking answer out of them about anything! I’ve been hoping for an email everyday for 6 mos. and my order# is different now than when I placed the order. I’m at my wits end with those fucks! Worst customer service ever!

With only one apparent clamping screw to hold the forearm on, it has to be relying on the scope rail to reinforce it. That makes me think that loading the bipod will put pressure on the scope rail. I'm not interested in something like that.

The market will decide what is stupid vs not.
Not every product is designed to meet all situations. A super light chassis isn’t the answer for questions related to competition platforms, but a super light hunting option that won’t see thousands of rounds, is an interesting option for SOME, not all.
At least it is being made and will give some people something to quietly and respectfully consider, or open up the floodgates of pomposity and conjecture.
