Rifle Scopes QD mount for AR + Rem 700

Ok forgive me if this is a silly question, I am pretty new to rifle shooting in general. Just picked up a leupold mark 5 with 35mm tube, hoping to swap it between my ar15 6.5 grendel and a future 6.5 creedmoor bolt gun (likely a bergara hmr). Is there a single mount that will work with both of those platforms?

I think that the issue you will run into is getting a mount that works for both and gives you the correct eye relief on each platform. Most AR rings are cantilever geometries to move the scope forward for eye relief purposes while simultaneously ensuring that the base is 100% mounted to the upper receiver’s rail. A cantilever mount may result in your scope being too far forward when mounted to your bolt rifle. I don’t know for sure. You can always try it and see, but that could be an expensive experiment.
