What is your favorite length barrel for you GAP-10?

I'm finalizing my build options and believe I've narrowed it down to either an 18" or 20" with a Surefire break (extra 2.66"). Most of my shooting will be under 600 yards however throughout the year a venue will be available for 1000+ yard shooting. Not worried about weight and can't think of a good reason to convince myself to go shorter since I have operated alright with our duty 26" sticks. Just looking for opinion and some GAP-10 porn. Also, I don't have any experience behind a PRS stock...is it worth the extra coin on the GAP-10?

And the PRS is well worth the money.

That's what I went with. I also got the barrel fluted and a Thunderbeast QD brake for a 30ba installed. Can't wait to get it.

Re: Q's For GAP-10 Owners

I was shooting a DTA in 308 for matches it was great out to 850 yds Now I'm shooting a gap-10 in 6.5 creedmore, with 140 A max and loving it.

Re: Q's For GAP-10 Owners

Besides the PRS stock I also recommend the Geissele Hi-Speed National Match-DMR trigger upgrade and the Noveske Switch Block if you plan on using a suppressor.

Jon you're not a fair comparison to the average shooter... lol

You are correct, an Average shooter should do much better with a GAP 10. I need my butt off the internet and behind the butt plate more!
