I need a few questions answered before a potential sale about this particular scope due to no prior knowledge or experience with this particular model. My only experience has been with a 1st generation IOR.
Seller states he is the original owner and it was purchased in 2006, what "generation" would that make it (he did not know)? Here's some pics:
Here's the specs as provided by the seller:
IOR Valdada rifle scope. 3x-18x, 35mm tube, 42mm objective, illuminated MP-8 Dot Reticule, matte black. This scope is top of the line and includes 35mm tactical rings that I purchased with the scope as well as lens caps from Butler Creek. Elevation and windage knobs are very tight and accurately reset to zero. Reticule is bright, clear and etched into the glass rather than made from wire which could break. Illumination has 7 brightness levels. Technical specification are listed below
Magnification..................................3x-18x
Objective.......................................42mm
FOV @ 100yds................................61' to 8'
Eye Relief.......................................3.5 in
Diopter...........................................+4 to -4
Elevation Adj. Range....................... 60 MOA
Click Value..................................... 1/4 MOA
Coatings......................................... MC-7 Fully Multicoat with Antireflex
Tube.............................................. 35mm DURAL alum. alloy
Length............................................ 13.5 in
Weight............................................ 28.8 oz
The scope was on a Remington 700 .308.
Wondering if this is worth my time and if so what prce point should I be looking at for used? Thanks.
