On the schedule some of the matches are listed as qualifier matches. Does anyone know what this means. I hope it doesn’t mean that these are the only matches that will count toward the finale.

To qualify for the Finale, at least one of your scores has to come from a qualifier match.

One of your 3 scores to count towards a finale invite must be a qualifier. So, if you shioot 4 matches and get a 90, 85, and 83 at non-qualifiers, then a 70 at the qualifier - the 70 replaces your 83.

If you shoot the same scores, but the 83 also came from a qualifier, then the 83 qualifier counts for your 3.

Do you have to be a full member of PRS to make your score count at a qualifier match?

You have to be a paid member of the PRS for any 2-day match score (Edit: Qualifier match or non-qualifier match) to count for series points, yes. You're still able to shoot the match and walk the prize table if you're not a member, but you won't get series points. There is a 1 week grace period, as well - if you shoot a match, you have 1 week to become a paid member and get credit for the match.

Thank You.
It is, imho, almost a clusterfuck here in Missouri now with PRS and NRL and Border Wars and MOST matches all being put on.
I have to pay attention a lot more than before the big boys decided they wanted some of my money to shoot matches.

2.5 hours? Shit that’s close. I used to bitch about 3.5-4 hours. But I have 4 matches within 4 hours and after hearing what other guys have to drive, I’m lucky.

Was taking to Jon Pynch at frontline and the closest match to him he said is 7 hours.

2.5 hours isn’t too bad really

I've got places to shoot out to 810 and 1360 within 20 minutes of me.
One is private land and the 1360 is a private range with covered benches and permanent steel out to 670.
But it is cropland behind it and can stretch it out when the crops are harvested and the weather is right. Costs a whole 20 bucks a year to belong.
I mow down there a few times and try to clean up a couple of times a year as well.
Not managed very well, but during the week I usually have it all to myself.
