Gunsmithing Quality rebarrel/true w/turn around < than 2wks?

I understand you pay for quality and good things come in time....

BUT is there a place I can ship my factory barreled action along with a new pre-contoured blank to get trued and rebarreled and have any hope of seeing it again within the month?

And if so what kind of price is fair? I've talked to or looked up many of the Businesses I've seen on here and others I've found just Googling and their prices vary from affordable (for me in the $250 range for true and rebarrel, or maybe that's just wishful thinking I can't remember) to the cost of a whole new 700+ cost of barrel, but nearly all said it would be months so that ruled them out from the get go.

I only have one bolt gun worth shooting for fun and not having it for months on end would suck. Id have to find a new hobby probably.

Many, but not all of the good ones will schedule a time for you. Gre Tan is one that I know of. Also, you should consider another rifle. Buy a custom build on the site and then get yours worked over as time permits. Is you barrel shot out? If not shoot it until Greg says send it. He will get it done when he says he will. He is not a guy who wants your stuff sitting around. Work is really as good as any.

10 day turn around for receiver BP, barrel fitting, and C-coat.

Haha no sir I wouldn't expect or even want anyone to spend the holidays working on something for me.

And I didn't actually know I could get on a list and send my gun off whenever they were ready for it. That is 100% my misunderstanding. That makes much more sense than needing my gun to sit in a shop for a month prior to their working on it.
