I am getting ready to load a lot of rounds to go to a competition. It is the first time I have load for myself and not bought factory rounds to go. I have what I think a solid load with 42.2 of xbr 8208 win cases and win primers. I bought a magnetospeed to see what they were running at. Most 10 round strings I stay between 2643 and 2602. But the I get some 10 round strings that get 2643 and 2-3 that are 2593. Should I worry? My sd is normally staying around 10-13. I had one ten round string the sd was 4. I am loading for my .308 22" factory barreled AW. Any help is appreciated. I can post more solid numbers if that helps? I have 5 strings of 10 rounds.

clear sunny day?? cloud cover? indoor outdoor? chronos ar every sensitive to light.. and if they are not level you will get weird readings also.. how far from muzzle are you testing.. should be between 4-5 yards for muzzle blast from what I have experienced..

ahh ok.. i have herd good and bad about those.. most poeple end up with a tripod version.. they seem to get better and more consistant readings. i have never used the barrel mount version personally
