Getting ready to reload some 223 with Hornady 75 A MAX..Question is if anyone has used these
do they like a jump into the rifling or perhaps a jam fit;
You're gonna have to play in your rifle. I always recommend starting 20 thousandths off the lands or 5 thousandths off max mag length, whichever is more feasible
.020" off the lands is the spot I find most of my Hornady bullets work well. I loaded the 75 ELDs at .020" off and they shot great. Try it and see if your rifle likes it.
I have some loaded with 748 at .010 .020 .030 and also just touching the lands..Plan to try them at 300 yards this afternoon.....ysing the 748 as it seemed to work
good with some bergers I had..thanks...
