Question about Tannerite

Ok people I got a question about the legalities of quanity of mixed tannerite a person or persons can have. I know you can legally have as much un mixed tannerite as you want. And a person can have 50lbs of mixed tannarite in their possession. But ive asked atf, state fire marshal, state trooper, county sheriff and no one can answer if it is 50 lbs per person or 50lbs in same vicinity. Example would be if me and a buddy had 50lbs each and blew them up together if that would be legal or not......no one can give me an answer. So im asking if anybody knows or knows who else to ask.

Asking this type of question may get you looked at by all those you asked, even if you are not doing anything wrong, or plan to, best advice, is: stay away from the entire thing. 50 pounds is a hell of a lot, to what end do you want to fire 100 pounds for? Just for fun, or are you trying to do a real project, example, move rocks etc.?

Its just a question cause I cannot find a clear answer, most we let off was 32lbs and that was to remove a large stump....which worked amazingly. I just wanted to have an answer for future reference and to answer my own curiosity. If by chance I decide to go bigger I want to be legal doin it.

Second what others have said. Stop attracting attention to yourself, which I don't care about, and tannerite, which I do care about. You've already set off 32 lbs with no problem, so shut up and go play!

It's so funny how many people have been committing felonies with binary explosives and not even realizing it. Obviously you can't keep it in mixed form. Also you can't attach it to anything that can fragment. You also can't attach it to a flammable accelerant such as a gas can. This will explain why you see people on YouTube disappearing when they post vids of this. I grew out of binary explosives long ago. It's too juvenile even for me and that's saying A LOT!

why would you ever want to shoot more than 50 pounds at one time?? I have shot more of this stuff than most people. there is no reason that a normal person needs to set off more that 2 pounds. if you are trying to remove stumps from private property hire someone. that being said. Tannerite is only technically legal on private property. If you have more questions, a great place to start looking is ATF Publication 5400.7

Not a troll at all I had a simple question that I thought someone could answer or point me in direction that could answer my question. And whatever I plan to do in the future I want to stay legal, and everytime I set some off it had always been on private property. Uscspirit, ill pm you tonight
