Well the M4 has a 14.5in barrel with a flash hider were the ak has a 16 in barrel with no flash hider and the 5.56 has a higher gas pressure. Is the M4 louder?
Also what about rounds that have powders designed to be completely burned by the end of the barrel, does that effect noise?
