Question regarding Rock Creek Barrels and orders...

On September 10 of 2012 I placed an order with Rock Creek for a barrel. About a month later they changed their website to say that they were no longer taking orders from individuals. It is now close to 19 months later. I've sent emails responding to the original order confirmation, and I've called (got the machine), but to date I have not gotten a response.

Does anyone know if Rock Creek is filling in the individual orders that were placed before they stopped taking orders?

I know people want what they want, but you can get lots of good barrels TODAY.

I ordered a Rock Creek Barrel almost 2 years ago, took over a year & 1/2 to get into my grubby mitts. Sometimes good things take a while.....

To the best of my knowledge, if they accepted an order from you, they'll fill it...PERIOD. They quit doing individual orders for a variety of reasons, but primarily because of ridiculously high order volumes. Frankly, after over a year and a half of waiting with ZERO comms, I'd have just gone to bugholes/SPR and gotten it a LONG time ago and been done with it (hell...even Stocky's for that matter or even a WTB here likely will yield quicker results unless what you are after is WAY off the beaten path)!

Mike is a stand-up guy and I'm sure that he'll come through for you if you still want the barrel after all this time. I'm also not making excuses for the lack of comms, but they are busy as hell and would rather be making barrels than dealing with individual issues (again...one reason that they haven't done individual orders since 11/2012).

Really, know anyone who has any 33" 1:10 .300 bore Heavy Palma tubes lying around?

I've gotten two Kriegers and a Bartline since I ordered it, I'm just wodering if I need to get another one on order for next yr from someone or if this one is coming.
