Gunsmithing Quick coating question...

Does Kleen-Strip or other paint removers affect duracoat or cerakote?

For example, can I paint a base coat on my rifle in Duracoat/cerekote, and then krylon my camo over top of it... in order to easily change camo thoughout the seasons.

I have yet to find anything besides aluminum oxide that will harm cerakote. I have never used duracoat so I can't say for sure

Lacquer Thinner will remove Dura Coat and Krylon and Clear coat.

I have never used Cerakote but have experience with duracoat and automotive urethanes and I know they never absolutely stay put when you use stripper/laquer thinner. Lowlight had a video some time back that did just as you would like to, it was on youtube. I have yet to see any chemicals (acetone & such) affect cerakote.
