any recommendation for a decent quality 20 MOA 30mm ring w/quick detach on Tikka t3x tac A1. don't want something too expensive, its use for plinking at range. so under $200, prefer something in $100 range though. thanks

I was under the impression that QD rings won't hold the same level of repeatability as something you torque on and off.

Looking for a 1 piece? Seekins MXM is a nice choice. I have one I'm looking to sell.

really i didn't know that, i meanly want to switch between scope become easier. looking for 1 piece.

could somebody verify that 1 piece QD doesn't hold true after certain amount of shot?

I considered a quick detach mount for my Tac A1. Mostly because I come from an AR background and that's just what people do w/ ARs. After some thought, I decided I didn't need the added expense (usually more for the qd than standard mount if all else is the same) and why in the World would I do anything that 'could' compromise the accuracy and confidence in that accuracy for the most accurate bow in the quiver? I bought the best mount I could afford, Spuhr, and mounted it and forgot about it. There's no reason to unmount it or dick with the mount unless I make a conscious decision to do so. Like moving it forward or back after initial use. Once you find the spot, leave it alone. It's your scalpel and it needs to be sharp when needed.

Your needs and results may differ. Just my opinion from a guy that was in the same starting spot.

Some of the higher end QD mounts are most certainly repeatable and consistent in remount. Mounts like Geissele, Nightforce and RRS for example. However, you will not find that quality for $100.

Yup that $100 limit is going to narrow the options. Especially if you are wanting quality. Save up a bit more...I run the ARC one piece with the 30 MOA base on the same rifle. Returns zero and has yet to come loose when finger tightened. You can also throw an Allen on it to be extra safe.

$100 is just a thought, prefer spend under $200. seem a lot American defense mount is less than $200. i'm assuming their mount is pretty good or I should go higher for other mount?

seem QD 1 piece 20 MOA is limited(maybe i'm not searching right) went to SWFA, most are from American defense mount, counldn't find other mount with QD
